Staffing Assistant


Location: Hayward, CA


Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM


Pay: $26.00 per hour


We are seeking an organized, energetic, and customer-focused Staffing Assistant to support daily recruiting and workforce operations.


Responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard candidates
• Match qualified candidates with available positions
• Schedule interviews, orientations, and start dates
• Track attendance, timekeeping, and employee performance
• Assist with job postings, recruiting events, and candidate sourcing
• Complete background screenings, employment verifications, and onboarding paperwork
• Respond to candidate, employee, and client inquiries
• Provide administrative support to the staffing team

Requirements

• Previous staffing industry experience required
• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and applicant-tracking systems
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
